Student Support Services

School-based mental health including our social worker and counselor are available to meet with students who may be experiencing emotional challenges. 

Services include short-term counseling, referrals, and coordination with outside providers. 

Wellness activities and classroom lessons promote positive mental health, kindness, and resilience. 

Intervention teachers work alongside classroom teachers to provide extra help in reading, math, and other core subjects. 

Students may engage in small group instruction, after-school tutoring, or enrichment programs that address learning gaps while also strengthening individual skills. 

Progress is monitored regularly to ensure every child is moving forward. 

Students may be referred by their teacher, parents/guardians, or may self-refer by speaking to a counselor.
