Parent & Family Engagement (ref Title I)

What is Title I?

Title I is federal funding that helps our school improve learning for all students, with extra help for students who need it most. Families are important partners in this work.

Our Goals (in simple terms)

  • Help students read, write, and do math better.
  • Help English Learners grow in English each year.
  • Make school safe, welcoming, and connected for every child.
  • Improve attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism.
  • Involve families so you feel informed, heard, and valued.

How Families Can Get Involved

  • Join SSC or ELAC to share ideas and guide school plans.
  • Attend family nights, parent classes, and school events.
  • Check ParentSquare and the school website for news and resources.
  • Talk with your child’s teacher about goals and supports.
  • Ask for language help—we provide translation and interpretation.
