Wirtz Elementary – Comprehensive School Safety Plan
At Wirtz the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Each year, we review and update our Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP) to make sure our campus is a safe and welcoming place to learn.
What the Safety Plan Includes:
-
Emergency drills and disaster preparedness (fire, earthquake, lockdown, evacuation, etc.)

Policies to prevent bullying, discrimination, and harassment
-
Clear rules for discipline and behavior, with a focus on positive supports and restorative practices

Safe arrival and dismissal procedures, including the RAPTOR visitor check-in system
-

-
Support for student attendance, behavior, and well-being through counseling, social work, and positive behavior programs
